Patriotism is on display during this energizing and entertaining concert

Category: Activities, Performances, & Events

If you thought patriotism was dead, think again. The God Bless America concert by the Millennial Choirs & Orchestras highlights the freedoms and history of the United States of America. With patriotic songs as well as historical hymns, this concert proves that America is loved and cherished.

The choirs consist of all ages, from youngsters, to seniors and all those in between. They come out in groups and periodically they are all there along with the orchestra.

When they sing about “Paul Revere’s Ride” the little ones are front and center on the stage wearing their three pointed hats. The cuteness factor is through the roof with these little ones.

As the concert progresses, they sing about being Americans, George Washington, the War of Independence, and the beautiful red, white and blue flag. They also sing a song most of us know without the music, “I Pledge Allegiance.”

There are some religious moments as on the screen above the orchestra are images of George Washington kneeling in prayer, Joseph Smith founding the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), and beautiful images of the country and the history that show how the people pull together in times of crisis and unite in times of joy.

Ending with an interesting rendition of “God Bless America,” the audience is treated to the ensemble paying their heartfelt tribute to the country.

The Millennial Choirs & Orchestras are located in several states, and welcome musicians and singers of all ages. To find out more about this inspiring program, check out their website.
